In the tea room right before we played some polo and then watched a game of cricket.
Less than a month ago I was able to go visit my grandfather in New Hampshire. I broke him out of the assisted living facility and asked him where he wanted to grab lunch. He didn't much care what we ate but had asked that I bring him back to his house on Sawtelle Rd so that he could eat at the kitchen table where he has eaten for decades. We had lunch together at that table and soon after, he asked to go back to the assisted living facility. A man of tremendous work ethic his whole life, he fathered 6 children and worked hard to make sure he could give them the best life possible. Donald Sawtelle Jr passed away yesterday morning at the age of 88. I'm glad we got this one last hang. ❤️
I love her. The emotion of today is made better by knowing that she lives in the hearts of all of those that knew her. ❤️ 🎵: @butchwalker
